FAQ

On average, one month, counting from the date the script is approved, providing that we have all materials required. It goes to a month and a half if the video contains complex animation.

Approve the script and provide all the component files. Then we calculate the approximate length of your video & make an advance invoice.

No, there are examples of videos without it, but if you want to show your game’s best side, the voice-over is definitely required and we will need it asap after the script approval.

The most convenient script format is a spreadsheet with two columns: the spoken text on the left, and the description of the video on the right. It can be as detailed as you want. You can give us some broad strokes and the basic idea, or you can describe every moment down to the smallest nuances. Generally, the more information we have, the easier it is to create exactly what you want us to.

It should be a .wav file with small pauses between phrases. It is very important to record the VO in a single take so that the intonation does not change. Optionally, you can add a timeline to the script to further link the voice-over text and the video.

Yes, we can, and that comes at an additional cost. The script is $200-400, depending on the complexity of the game. Voice-over costs $50 for our work + the cost of the voice-over itself.

When preparing files, it is very essential to understand that you know the game much better than we do. Therefore, the more thoroughly you prepare the files, the fewer questions we will ask, and the faster the work on the project will be. The best-case scenario is the set of files organized the way that allows a person who has no knowledge of the game to clearly understand what is what, and where to find all the different components.

Please keep in mind that all the images that need to be animated must be layered, with as many details available as possible. Also, we require a full list of components with their dimensions (including thickness) and material.
