Evolution: New World is an updated and extended version of the 2010 classic board game Evolution: The Origin of Species created by Dmitry Knorre, Ph.D. in Biology. In the game, you do the work of nature, creating animals and giving them traits essential to survive and thrive in an ever-changing environment.

Over the course of six Epochs, your successful animals evolve and procure food, while poorly adapted species become extinct or fall prey to predators. The game includes traits based on the anatomy and behavior of real animals inhabiting our planet, accompanied by scientific descriptions and examples of these traits and how they are used by animals in real nature. Cards have colorful illustrations in the spirit of historical zoology artwork.
