City of the Great Machine is a strategy game set in a grim, technocratic Victorian steampunk world. The game pits the Great Machine, an A.I. ruling a City built on mobile sky platforms, against an alliance of Heroes leading a revolution.
One player controls the Great Machine, an artificial intelligence striving to complete its grandiose Master Plan to perfect the human race. The other players become Heroes, Leaders of the Resistance, who work together to spark a revolution and stop the Great Machine from enslaving humanity.
Now, this game gets a new chapter. A new dimension.

The Story Unfolds brings a new narrative dimension to City of the Great Machine with a campaign revealing the secrets of the mysterious Everett Triad, plus four standalone scenarios exploring alternate versions of the City through new conflicts, objectives, and rules.
It introduces new and updated mechanisms, modules, new City Events and Directives, a new Hero, Anneke Hoffman, the Aviator, and the Four Heroes Mode for up to 5 players, where the Great Machine commands the colossal Enforcer.
