If you don’t know what it’s all about, Nippon: Genro is a major expansion for Nippon: Zaibatsu that adds a powerful new layer of interaction. Together with Nuno Bizarro Sentieiro and Paulo Soledade, we created an expansion that enhances the game without replacing the core principles that define Nippon.
Designed to synergize with the core production → delivery arc, Genro reshapes familiar strategic patterns and can redefine your entire game plan. The expansion includes five Genro (with the sixth as a gift to Kickstarter backers), and you choose two for each game, creating 15 possible combinations that dictate the flow, tension, and tempo of play. Each Genro imposes a persistent global constraint or penalty, shifting priorities and making their influence impossible to ignore.
Important things to know:
1. Everything is now available in 7 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and Korean. You will be able to choose a language in the pledge manager after the campaign ends.
2. Kickstarter bonuses:
