Come closer, come closer! Is everyone here? Good. Let’s begin our tour.

En Route is an innovative Flip&Write game that changes the way you think about this genre. We created it with a very high level of player interaction in mind, significantly reducing the effect of random events. In the game, cards are not flipped randomly – instead, the active player and their neighbors choose them each round. Because of this, you have a fair degree of control and can plan ahead.

In En Route, you take on the role of a first-class tour guide and create routes for London, Paris, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Hong Kong and Cairo. Every city features both basic and city-specific mechanics, changing the way the game plays. The game feels and works differently depending on player count – so you won’t miss anything playing solo, duel, or 3-4 player game, but instead discover the game anew!

Pack your suitcases, grab your maps, and – En Route!
  • Flip&Write where you control your luck: Due to its drafting system, En Route doesn’t force you to adapt to random card flips, instead providing lots of room for strategy!
  • 7 diverse cities: There are 6 real cities in the game, each featuring distinct extra mechanics in addition to basic ones – and a tutorial First City for when you’d like to stick to the basics!
  • Cities vary in difficulty: You won’t have trouble playing with newbies nor with experienced players!
  • Almost like in real life! While sometimes tweaked to fit the grid, each real city is modeled after its actual geography!
  • “Cities of the World” booklet: Find info on both the cities’ unique mechanics and which real-life features they represent!
  • Laminated boards and dry-erase markers: Enjoy a variety of boards without need for any clunky tokens!
  • Colorblind-friendly: Each colores element is marked with a distinct shape! Also useful if you lose one of your markers 🙂

Not based on any real city, the First City is perfect for learning the game, and also for family play. Master the basic mechanisms, practice your tour guide skills, and learn how to chart optimal tour routes. Also, it is packed full of geek references. Can you recognize them all?

One of the main world centers of culture, London offers a lot to the tourists – and provides a formidable challenge for the tour guides!

Take advantage of the Tube, the oldest metro system in the world, to quickly get your tourists from one end of the city to another. Don’t underestimate the River Thames that divides the city, and its famous bridges that unite it (and serve as points of interest as well!).

Rio de Janeiro is the city of breathtaking beauty, contagious energy, and kaleidoscopic culture of Brazil, nestled between lush mountains and golden beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.

Walk the Sambadrome – home of the Carnival – or stroll away from the city center to visit Copacabana, Sugarloaf Mountain and the renowned Christ the Redeemer statue that watches over the city!

In Cairo, echoes of ancient civilizations harmonize with the vibrant rhythms of modern life. This bustling capital on the mighty Nile is a rich tapestry of sights, sounds, and flavors.

Explore the diverse cultural life of Cairo, chart your route to ensure your tourists get to the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, and take advantage of the ferries that can take you to anywhere along the Nile that splits the city into two parts.

Hong Kong is a global financial center with a rich history and cultural heritage. Showing all sides of the city is not a trivial task!

Create a route that includes both historical European- style buildings and modern high-tech skyscrapers, and don’t forget the renowned old Hong Kong tram!

Use ferries to travel to coastal locations – but try not to waste too much time going across the Victoria Harbour!

For many, New York is the center of the world, and for others… Well, they probably just haven’t visited the Big Apple yet!

Explore the huge double-sided map of New York with all the legendary landmarks from the Statue of Liberty to vibrant Broadway.

Attend to the needs of busy tourists, navigate your way through the crowded streets, grab a coffee to go and show your tourists what it’s like to live in one of the most famous cities in the world! (And try not to get lost yourself.)

Paris, the City of Lights and Love, where every cobblestone whispers tales of romance and history. Enchanting boulevards, historic grandeur, centuries-old cultural heritage and the artistry of world-class cuisine will amuse you – but don’t forget that you have tours to conduct!

Use a different card drafting system and multicolored route sections – but be careful not to miss a landmark by watching in another direction! Utilize Thematic Tours to your advantage and show other players that Paris isn’t only about love!
