In the Travel Guide series, you become a tour guide in Arkham and Innsmouth, with other famous places of the Cthulhu mythos to explore in upcoming titles. Your ultimate goal is to create the most successful route, earning points while navigating the dangers that await your tourists behind every corner.
All games share a similar roll-and-write mechanism with a twist, inspired by En Route. Players roll dice and collectively decide which to use to chart their paths and draw tourists. This gives player agency and significantly reduces the influence of chance, making these games more about skill and less about luck.
Do Arkham and Innsmouth sound fun, but you want to create tour routes for real cities too? Check out En Route, a stroll&write board game based on the same mechanisms, but taking them to a whole new level.
The game features a card-sharing mechanic unique to Flip-&-Write games, which greatly reduces the impact of randomness, allows players to strategize and provides meaningful and intense player interaction.
In the box are six real cities of different difficulty levels with distinct gameplay and their own additional rules that reflect the specifics of each city.
